Deus Ex Machina, the god of time and space, is fading and requires a successor to maintain the universe. To find one worthy, he initiates the Survival Game among twelve individuals scattered across the world. Each receives a Future Diary that updates with predictions based on their daily life, reflecting their personality and role in society. The diary's accuracy varies depending on proximity to other holders or specific conditions, creating an intricate web of cause and effect. The rules are simple yet brutal: eliminate all other holders while protecting your own device. If a holder dies or their diary is destroyed, they lose the game permanently. Deus remains distant, observing through his subordinate Moebius, who ensures the game progresses without external interference. The tension lies in the paradox of knowing one's future; acting to change it often fulfills the prediction, trapping holders in cycles of fate.
